Illuminated tent in Reykjavik City Park

In November 2000, as winter darkness blanketed the city, a Festival of Light bearing the name “Northern Lights” was held in Reykjavik.
My contribution to the Northern Lights festival was to set up a tent in a public garden in the city centre.
The tent was illuminated with projected family photographs from a group of children of diverse cultural heritage.
The children chose photographs from family albums and brought them from home.
Their family pictures lit up the tent from dusk to the dawn of the new day.
